Job Description

Overseeing daily production or manufacturing operations, managing staff, and ensuring production targets are met.

·        Ensure achievement of production targets (output, cycle time, and efficiency) while minimizing downtime.

·  Identifying and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, analyse root causes, reduce waste, and minimize downtime in production processe.

·      Ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer specifications, and investigating and resolving production issues and rejections.

·       Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems like ISO/IATF.

·        Leading, motivating, and training production teams, including conducting performance reviews and developing staff on processes and safety procedures.

·        Overseeing the maintenance and calibration equipment, and potentially troubleshooting malfunctions.

·        Maintaining accurate production records, preparing reports for senior management on performance metrics, and managing inventory.

·        Developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in production processes.

·        Work closely with R&D/Design teams to validate new tooling, materials, and product trials.

·        Maintain Housekeeping & 5 S in are.

·        Ensure Tool life monitoring as per control plan.

·        Ensure Right First Time.

·        Ensure Proper Material Handling to avoid dent & Damages.

Key Skills & Competencies:

·        Strong technical knowledge of VMC/ CNC and similar machines, Fixtures & tooling

·        Hands on experience in developing the parts on VMC/CNC Machines

·        Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production & quality issues in machine shop

·        Knowledge of raw materials and tooling selections.

·        Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM practices.

·        Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·        Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949: 2016 system documentation

·        Comprehensive knowledge MS Office package

Education & Experience:

·        Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering

·        Experience: 8-10 years in machine shop or similar industry
