Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out Product management activities for Industrial cleaning Solutions.
- Communicate with Project leaders, Suppliers and Production engineers to design the cleaning /washing machine to get best practical and t the same time economical.
- Design of machines based on specification provided by customers.
- Develops design drawings to fulfil technical objectives as per customer requirements and design specifications.
- Design of plastic, rubber, and sheet metal parts.
- Coordinate with engineers to meet or exceed the design aspects.
- Product design based on design for manufacture/design for assembly
- Able to deliver on time while doing it right the first time and every time.
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Understanding of industry design standards for dimensioning and tolerancing. GD&T will be a plus point.
- Selection of Gearbox, induction motor, Servo motor, Stepper Motor, Ball screw, Lead Screw, Bearings, Pneumatic parts.
- Coordination with electrical design team for electric component selection
- Preparation of project related documents for handover manuals.
- DAP approval from client.
- Knowledge of sheet metal pressing & fabrication process
- Ability to communicate.
- DAP approval from client.
- Organizing, planning, and coordinating with Production, sales and customers.

Relevant Experience:
- 2-3 (+) years of professional Design Engineering work experience
- Experience in design of Bespoke and Customised Machinery
- Ability to travel (if need be).
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret the engineering documents (drawings, engineering specifications).
- Ability to respond timely & effectively to the critical inquiries / technical issues or complaints.
- Ability to make effective presentations on regular updates & critical issues to customers
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work flexible hours
