Job Role:
IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the SAP B1 environment with respect to reliability, performance and support other activities related to IT, which impact the business operations at IOCL.
Job Duties:
- Management of Application and System, Problem response and capacity planning.
- SAP Systems Administrator has a good understanding of the IT infrastructure needed for the integration of specific SAP modules.
- Activities include providing Level 3 support with respect to troubleshooting, issue resolution, change request review, software updates and tracking report distribution.
- Good understanding of the business implications of SAP application is expected to enable the setting of severity levels when problems arise
- SAP Server patch Update on a regular basis
- Coordination with SAP Service Provider
- License management on SAP Portal
- Modification of existing processes and critical issues.
- SQL Server 2017 installation & configuration for Windows Server 2019.
- SAP Master Data Creation
- SAP user Authorization as per HOD’s request.
- SQL server account managed.
- SAP License Server Management
- FY Year-end closing process in SAP
- FY Year starting process i.e. new documents series created etc.
- SAP User creation, authorization, and training for new employee
- New Scenario’s solution as per business requirements.
- SAP server database backup check on a daily basis.
- Setting SAP test database for testing purposes.
- End-user SAP-related troubleshooting and report creation.
- Crystal reports customization in layouts.
- Store Procedure knowledge
- Query base report creation.
- SAP users and license administration
- SAP add-on management.
- Creation of a new tax code as per changes in tax laws.
- E-Invoice related process
- Website Hosting Knowledge.
- Antivirus Server Management.
- Firewall management
- AD Server management
Additional responsibilities include training users, preparing checks lists and SOPs, monitoring the performance of applications, preparing contingency plans for outages, participating in SAP implementation, vendor coordination and installation of patches, updates, etc.

Qualification and Experience requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Any Degree with equivalent Diploma.
- Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IT Department.
- Should be fluent in both spoken and written English communications
- Should have effective people management skill and inter-personal relationship
